Fitch died at Mt. Agr
Iowa Monday Oct 5th. Mr. Fitch has long been a resident of GF, and at the time of his death sojourning in other climates with the end in view of recovering from the consumption with which disease he had long been a suffer.
Mr. Fitch was a member of the Masonic order and it was thought at the news of his death that his remains would be brought back to GF for burial, but at the present writing it has not been done. And it is probable now that it will not be. Mr. Fitch was once connected with the newspaper business of the place and at one time was a postmaster.
