Betty L. Diehl, 67, of Stephenson Avenue, a retired nurse's aide, died Wednesday, February 12, 1997, in Lockport Memorial Hospital.

The former Betty Sikkas was born in Remsen, Iowa.

She served as a nurse's aide at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for 28 years, retiring in 1988.
Mrs. Diehl was a member of St. John de LaSalle Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, William; a daughter, Debra O'Reilly; two sisters, Margaret Beaver and Elizabeth Markel; two brothers, Peter and Bernard; and a grandson.

Burial was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
