Any information appreciated on these surnames. I have located tombstones in the Catholic Cemetery in Graettinger regarding these families. James McGonagle's daughter, Anna, married an Aylward. James is also buried there. Do you have the name of the Catholic church there?

This is a long shot to write, but.. My ggreatgrandmother was Anne McGonagle who married Michael Richard Aylward. She was born in Lancaster County, PA. I have been to the archives there. Most of the early records were burned.

I've just received a copy of my ggrandparents marriage license issued in Manhattan, NY. It lists a Martin Aylward as a witness. Was your grandfather in NYC in 1899? Curious to find out who this witness to their marriage was. My ggrandparents were Owen Hughes and Marcella Kiernan.
