Frank Kilbourn was married to my relative, Anna Ostrom, they lived near Rolf, Iowa. Anna was my greatgrandfathers sister.....judy

I'm so glad to hear from you. My relatives had told me Frank married an Anna Ostrander, so I appreciate that tidbit. If you have any other information on Frank and Anna, I would enjoy getting it. I am a descendent of Frank's younger sister, Alice Roslla. One of the things I'm trying to find out is where Frank's mother (lydia) died.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kilbourn and son Lyle attended the funeral of Peter Ostrum at Spencer one day last week. Mrs. Kilbourn is a sister of the deceased.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto E. Dreeke and daughter Marilyn and Miss Dorothy Simonson, all of Cherry Valley, Illinois and Miss Thelma Simonson of Chicago arrived Sunday at the Kilbourn home for an extended visit. Mrs. Dreeke is a daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Kilbourn.

Rites Held For Mrs. Kilbourn, 92, At West Bend
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Kilbourn, for many years a resident of the West Bend Rolfe area, were held at West Bend Methodist Church Thursday with the Rev. Robert Williams, pastor, officiating and burial in the West Bend Cemetery.
The Streit Funeral Home of Rolfe was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kilbourn died Tuesday afternoon last week at the Haywood Nursing Home in Emmetsburg.
The former Anna Ostrom, daughter of Peter and Anna Ostrom, she was born at Chickasaw. After her marriage to Frank Kilbourn, they lived at Clarion three years, then farmed in the West Bend-Rolfe vicinity for many years.
Mrs. Kilbourn resided at the Good Samaritan home in Pocahontas five years before coming to Emmetsburg.
She is preceded in death by her husband who died many years ago, and a son Earl.
Surviving are four children, Arthur and Lyle of Rolfe, Mrs. Hazel Dreeke, a resident of California and Mrs. Marjorie Harris of Laurens. A number of grandchildren also survive.
