I am compiling biographical sketches of two young men from Edinburgh (Scotland),who settled in EMMETSBURG and who died mysteriously about the same time. Charles Neaves CORNILLON (born 20 Oct 1860) was a farmer and died on 20 March 1882. Frederick George MILLAR (born 2 Jan 1862) died the next day. Any help in tracing coroner's reports or press coverage or cemetery details would be greatly appreciated.

Bill, I did research for you from Emmetsburg, Palo Alto county, Iowa on CORNILLON and MILLAR in 1999. I found a longer article on this incident in a different newspaper. I also found out that I did not send you the gravestone photos you requested and thought I had mailed to you.
