Hello - I'm hoping Paul R. Sarrett is set to receive an email notification that there was a reply a message of his on the Rootsweb Page Co., Iowa genealogy message board.

Actually, I'm trying to notify him that I think his email address has been hijacked and being used to send out phishing emails.

Yesterday, 13 Apr 2010, I sent Paul an email message with some updating Pinkerton family information -- Message from Jean E. DeLauche. Today, I got a message from his email address which I know is a phishing message.

So . . .Paul, if you get this, please telephone me at 314-434-2870, if you haven't already been clued into the hijacking of your email address. I do computer troubleshooting for a living (among other things -- I'm really a librarian by profession.)

DO NOT use your email account or your home computer until the hijacking problem has been taken care of and your home computer checked for any malware!

If I don't hear from you via telephone, and if you do get this message, after the hijacking problem has been reported, your current email address shut down, and you have a new email account, then just reply to me via this message board.
