Searching for the descendants of Charles MUELLER and Wilhemina (Mina) HOLTZ formerley HARTMANN who married 17 September 1864, Mucatine, Iowa. Wilhemina was born 3 Janurary 1833 in Germany to Christian HARTMANN & Carlena DAMIERE. She imigrated to Muscatine, Iowa. She first married Frederick HOLTZ 1 May1859, he was in the American Civil War and enlisted as a Private on 22 August 1862 at the age of 28 in Company C, Thirty Fifth Infantry and died of disease on 17 September 1863, in Memphis, TN. It is not known what issue there was to either marriage, although there was one daughter Elizabeth, who in 1976 was 100 years old. I have a photo presumed to be Wilhemina taken by A P Doolittle, Front Street, Columbus Junction, Iowa and another of two girls taken by J P Phelps & Co, Muscatine, Iowa.
