Mrs. Verena Hunsinger the widow of Samuel, who died January 1st at her home near Silver City, the funeral being held the following
Sunday at Silver Creek Baptist Church. She was born in Switzerland in 1830 and came to America in 1852, the year she was
married. She had resided near Silver City 24 years. She was the Mother of 11 children, six of whom survive her. They are Mrs. John
Durick, Mrs. William Summers, August and Fred Hunsinger of Silver Creek, Mrs. Emma Fisher of Foster, and Mrs. Edith
Beckmeyer of Mount Pleasant, Iowa
