I managed to find a complete bibliographic reference to Van Stigt’s book, at the Library of Congress, but could not find a lending library for the book:

Then I found out that some of Van Stigt’s work may have been reprinted in “The Souvenir History of Pella, Iowa 1847-1922”. I understand that a reprint of this book is available for sale from the Marion County Historical Society.
