I am still looking for anything that someone can tell me is the plot number/grave number, or has map of the cemetery. I have been to the funeral home and looked at the map they have and I can not find my Charlotta Edman who died April 16 1887 and is supposed to be buried in "OLD" cemetery. The funeral home tells me this means OLD WHITE cemetery. My grandmother is now 97 and she wants to be sure there is a stone on Charlotta's grave before she goes. Ive had many stories on these cemeteries that Im wanting to know now more proof. I have been to the library and I cant understand why there is a book there that has some grave /lot number with names. And some were old graves. So that tells me somewhere at sometime there was a record! I make it back to Iowa around Memorial weekend and this year Id love to be able to surprize grandma that we found Charlotta or better yet order a stone for her!
Any help, thoughts, suggestions as to where to go next? I have seen the death record at the court house and they didnt have grave number either.
Thanks for any help whats so ever!!!!
