Married in 1863 in Waterloo, Illinois. Believed to have moved to Doone, Lyon County, Iowa circa 1880.

Eight children, only seven of which I have identified.
Louise Christianna (1864) Johannes Heinrich Carl (1868) Carl Friedrich Hermann (1871), twins Caroline Wilhelmine and Emilie Louise Fredericke Caroline "Millie" (1873), Ernest Christine Johanna (1877), Carl Conrad "Charles" (1879).

Emilie Louise Fredericke Caroline "Millie" married Friedrich Carl Wilhem "Charles" Erftmeier in Doone, Iowa on Arpil 17, 1892. I have a copy of the marriage certificate issued in Lyon County. Their second and third children were born in Doone, Iowa. The family ultimately settled in Omaha, Nebraska
