I am hitting a brick wall - too many Ashbys around.
I am looking for census information on Jesse Raymond Ashby b. 1886 and his wife Georgia (Bond) Ashby b. 1888
They were married in or around Norwood, Lucas, Iowa 1906
May have been indexed living on farm with William Elmer Ashby in or near Norwood, Clarke or Lucas Iowa.

ANY help is greatly appreciated

I think this is your guy. None of the six Jesse Ashbys in 1920 were born in Iowa, but there is a Georgia Ashby in Chicago who was.

Lew Ashby of Norwood was a buddy of my ggf, R. O. Miller.

Jessie Raymond Ashby was born 16 Oct 1886 in Norwood, Lucas County, Iowa and died about 11 June 1950. His father was George Luckey Ashby.

Chariton Leader, Iowa, Norwood News, Thursday, Jan 3, 1907:
"Jesse R. Ashby and Georgia Bond were married on Christmas Day by Rev. Brown, at the home of the bride; she being the daughter of Charles R. Bond and wife; and the groom a son of G. L. Ashby and wife, two of our best families.
They will go to housekeeping on the W. E. Ashby farm east of town."

Jessie Raymond Ashby from what I understand is buried in
Rockford, Illinois.

Jessie and Georgia had the following children:
Gordon Ashby
Charles Luckey Ashby
Glenna Ashby
Richard Ashby

The 1910 US Census lists Jesse R. and Georgia Ashby in Otter Creek Township of Lucas County, Iowa. Georgia's parents, Charles R. and Celestine Bond are listed on the same page, just below the Ashby listing.

Charles R. and Celestine Bond are also found on the 1880 US Census, same township and county in Iowa. Other Bonds(George T. and Margaret), possibly parents of Charles R. Bond are listed on same page.

If you have more information on the family, I would be grateful for your help.

There is a book written by Newton B. Ashby in 1925 that is a family history of focusing on his branch of Ashby family.
However, he is related to Jesse R. Ashby and there is some overlap with Jesse R. Ashby family that is good information.
