I need a look-up in the cemeteries in Lucas Co., the name I am working on is that of FRENCH. My great-great grandfather was born in Chariton, Lucas Co., he moved to KS and lived there until his death. His father may have stayed in IA and perhaps a sibling or cousin. The time frame would be likely be around 1830-1925. Charles parents were AHH. & Cordelia (THURSTON) FRENCH. I suspect it may be Anthony H. for the AHH., I have been told there was a grave for an Anthony H. & Emma (MITCHELL) FRENCH in Wayne Co., IA. I don't know if he is a cousin or what? Anyway, I would like to find out if there are any FRENCH graves on record in Lucas Co

I know this was posted a while back but just wanted to share some info on AHH French.
Augustus Harley French married to Cordelia Thurston in 1840. Resided in Washington, Iowa Lucas County. I have no info on the Frenchs past Augustus, sadly. I am looking for info on his siblings and parents. Hope that helped a little.
