Seeking place of burial and date of death for Joseph R. Jay (b. 8 Jan 1837 in IN) and his wife Lucy (b. Sept 1839 in Ohio). I have information that Joseph was a Physician in Lucas Co, IA and that he died in 1866 in Lincoln Co, NE, but after finding him in the 1860 census in Lucas Co, IA and then finding the widowed Lucy in the 1870 census in Lucas Co, IA living with her children (Lizzie, Hasson and Minnie) and father (Elijah Collins) I have to wonder if they are buried in Lucas Co, IA or not. Can anyone help me with this? Did Lucy marry again and what happen to her and her children? They are not in Lucas Co in the 1880 census. Help
