Classification: Query
Surnames: bradshaw, o'malley
My great-grandfather, John Bradshaw, born c.1845, Clare Island Countyy Mayo, Ire. came to Chicago around 1870 after living in Allamakee County, Iowa, when the family emigrated in 1854. His parents were Myles or Martin (I'm not sure which is correct) Bradshaw and Winnie (O'Malley) Bradshaw. He had three sisters (all born Clare Island, Mayo), Mary became a Nun (Sister Valeria) and went to Oakland, CA.
Bridget, born c. 1836, and Sarah, b. late 1840's were last listed in the 1880 Fed. Census for Chicago. They were both single and living with their brother (my great-grandfather), his wife, Kate (Grady) Bradshaw, and their mother Winnie Bradshaw. After that census, I've lost track of them. They could have married, or both could have died before the 1900 Census. I've searched that Census by first names, possible variations of first names and cannot find them anywhere.
If anyone would have any information on Bridget and Sarah Bradshaw in Chicago from 1880 on, I would be very grateful for the information.
