Mary Catherine DIVERS (born abt 1832 in PA died 23 Mar 1897 in Pike County MO died 5 May 1943 in Hannibal Marion Missouri) was the mother of William G. EPPERSON (born 10 Sep 1863 in Busch Pike Co MO died 5 May 1943 in Hannibal Marion Missouri) and the second wife of Samuel EPPERSON (born 5 Jan 1808 in Jessamine Co, KY died probally after 1860 in Pike County MO) his first wife was Catherine ROBERSTSON.
William G. EPPERSON was the Grand Father of my aunt Bernadine Ellen EPPERSON (born 9 May 1920 in Hannibal Marion Missouri died 21 Feb 2004 in St. Louis City MO) her father Archie EPPERSON (born 19 Oct 1900 in Hannibal Marion Missouri died Apr 1965 probally in Buffalo, Erie, New York) was the son of William G. EPPERSON and Sarah Ellen HEIMER (born 24 Nov 1874 in Augusta, Schuyler, IL died 29 Jan 1953) Mary C.DIVERS first marriage was to John ALLEN in Louisa county Iowa, and her two daughters by that marriage were Elizabeth ALLEN (born abt 1850 in Iowa) and Sarah ALLEN (born abt 1856 in MO) both are on the 1860 Pike county census living in the Samuel EPPERSON household.
MITCHELL side:
Davis Thomas Collie MITCHELL (born abt 1837 in VA.) and Louisa Elizabeth ORR (BORN abt 1849 in MO) were the parents of William James Lee MITCHELL (born 13 Aug 1869 in Randolph County Missouri died 19 Dec 1949 in Hannibal Marion Missouri) he married Dicy K. COLLINS ( born 1 May 1870 in Randolph County Missouri died 3 Apr 1954 in Hannibal Marion Missouri. Both are buried at Mount Olivet Cemetary in Hannibal MO. William was the Street Commissioner of Hannibal MO for several years. They were the parents of Jessie M. MITCHELL (born 11 Sep 1900 in Evansville Monroe MO died 10 Sep 1997 in Phoenix, Maricopa AZ living with daughter Bernadine Ellen EPPERSON DAVIS my aunt.
Finally: Jessie M. MITCHELL maried Archie William EPPERSON in Hannibal MO abt 1920. There two children were William Kenton EPPERSON my father (born 10 Dec 1921 in Hannibal Marion MO died 26 May 1993 @ 11:10 PM at Regional Hospital, St. Louis Missouri) and Bernadine E. EPPERSON DAVIS my aunt who's research I am trying to complete.
