QUINN FAMILY INFO?

Surnames: Quinn
Do you live in Cedar Rapids? Do you own or live in a home that was possibly built around 1900-1910, possibly of brick, 2 story, with white columns rising on each side of the front door to hold up the porch roof? Does it now, or did it in the past have a large expanse of front lawn that was surrounded by wrought iron fencing?

Does the deed (going back in time) have the name of Franklin Phillip Quinn, or Frank Quinn, or Phillip Quinn, or any possible combination ending with Quinn?

Could the home have come into your family's possession possibly by a winning hand in a high stakes poker game somewhere around 1925? (family rumor says this is what happened.)

Do you know of any Quinn families living in the area about this time, definitely at least from 1916-1925? The mother would have been called Lillian, and looked and acted French, possibly even spoke French once in a while. The father Frank, might have been known as a bricklayer, or house painter, or house builder. He might have also been known as a ne'er do well, possibly getting himself into trouble a few times. He would have also greatly resembled Wild Bill Hickock.

Frank and Lillian would have had children with them, at least a boy named Bernard, a girl Marjorie or Margie, a girl named Virginia or Gin, a boy named Francis or Fran, and a very young boy named Eugene William, or Gene, or, since they didn't bother to even give him a name for at least 2 years, he might have been called Babe.

Anyone recognize anything?
