Okay Mary and Cyrus, I know it's been a while since you've had your Lyen's research hats on, but I need some help. I am searching my husband's g-grandmother's line. Vergie Lyen was daughter of James Lyen and Cyrena Rowe, who were married in Warren County, IL on 9 Mar 1865 and then eventually moved to Ely, Linn, IA. Also married in Warren were what appear to be James' siblings: A.B. Lyen, Andrew Lyen, and Polly Ann Lyen, plus one Henry H. who seems to be a generation younger. I have found a Andrew J. Lyen, older than the four by one generation, in a cemetery in Ft. Madison, Lee, IA. It is the Elmwood Cemetery. I am hoping that someone can tell me who his children were and if my James was one of them, as I am in search of James ancestry. Or, if not, can check your Lyen lines and see if there was a James born about 1845 who married a Cyrene Rowe. I see that this spelling of Lyen is unusual, so have limited myself at this point to an exact spelling.
Thanks for any and all help.
Terry
