According to the family Bible of John Campbell, John was born 4 Aug 1830, married to Rachel Campbell.
Parents Robert Campbell deceased 19 Aug 1848, and Matilda deceased 31 Aug 1848, and do not show up on the 1850 census. Although there seems to be a 2 year discrepancy on John in the census listing, I believe this is the right family.
