Wesley and Cora HILLS BROWN lived in Humboldt county (Bradgate, Gilmore City) for a time. Their son, Charles (my grandfather) was born there in 1899, as was their son Clifford in 1913. The family moved to Orchard, Mitchell county, Iowa, later.

In some correspondence there is mention of a Will BROWN who is supposed to be a cousin. He remained in Humboldt county and is buried there (died around 1955 - 1965). I would like to know if anyone has information on this Will who would have been born around 1890 - 1910.

Wesley's father Anson was born in Scotland (date unknown, but possibly around 1850), and he married Helen REEVES. After Anson's death Helen remarried John ELDRIDGE. They later moved to Orchard, too.
