Surnames: MONTGOMERY

James Thomas MONTGOMERY, Jr. was killed in action WWI in Argonne, near Verdun, France, 30 Sep 1918. His body was never recovered or identified. His name name is inscribed in The Tablet of the Missing there. He was married in Rippey, Greene Co., IA, and is my father's uncle. Would there be anyone in the area that could look in the newspaper archives and find an obituary or news account of this brave American soldier's death?
I'd be forever grateful, Bud in TX
