It looks as if no one replied to this post. I have no information about the Wagner boarding house but the Delano and Hawkeye Hotels are familiar names to me. I think - without looking it up - that they were on Main Street not far from today's rr depot on the riverfront. If you are still interested, I'll see what I can find in my books about the hotels; not certain what info can be found about the boarding house.
