Are death certificates available for Dallas County for the period 1890-1910 that would have the name of the parents?

I have been searching for the marriage of my great grandmother and the identity of her husband for awhile, but without success. Last week I received a 'hint' on Ancestry.com that my g g grandmother, Emma Martin, born 1836 in Lawrence County, Ohio, might be the same as Emma Pomeroy, married to Francis Pomeroy on the 1870 Dallas County, Iowa census.

These 'hints' on Ancestry are extraordinarily accurate most of the time, especially when proved through subsequent research. This one seems a bit more 'out there' so how could I find out if
Emma Pomeroy of that census IS the same as Emma Martin of Ohio. The locations and dates match but there is, of course, no maiden name.

They are found in Clinton Co in 1860. Thank you very much for your help.
