Steve, "Wolf's Hill" doesn't even ring a bell and I can't believe those of us who grew up in the area wouldn't have heard of a cemetery with a name like that! Any idea what town it was associated with? What town did he live in? The USDS mapping service doesn't show anything for "Wolf Hill" or "Wolf's Hill" or "Wolfs Hill" except an actual hill in northeastern Iowa. I'd go by the town he lived in -- check the nearby cemeteries and maybe see if anyone named Wolf is on the plat map in 1889. I know there was a bridge called "Wolfe Bridge" just southwest of Perry on the 1906 map, with a Wolf family shown living nearby, but I'm sure there were others of that name elsewhere in the county.

Good luck,

Kristi
