HENRY FRANK of
PERU DIED THURSDAY
Long-Time Resident of Clark
County Had Lived at Peru
Past two Years
Henry Frank, a long-time resi-
dent of Clark county, died last
Thursday at his home in Peru at
the age of 82 years.
Mr. Frank was born near Burl-
ington on Sept. 16, 1861, the son of
Christian and Katheryn Frank.
When a small boy he moved with
his parents to Clarke county. With
The exception of a year in Colorado,
his active life was spent farming
in Clarke county. He had lived in
Peru since 1942.
In 1887 he was married to Tillie
Neidt of Clarke county. They were
The parents of four children, one
of whom died in infancy. The wife
and mother died in 1899 in Color-
ado; and two years later he was
married to Mamie Smith of Mur-
ray. They were the parents of
two children.
He had been a member of the
Union church since early in life.
He is survived by his wife; five
children, Mrs. Vance Davis of Tor-
rington, Wyo., Ernest Frank and
Mrs. Ernie Youmans of Truro,
Mrs. Lawrence Simmons of Peru,
and Ross Frank of Couer d’ Alene,
Ida; 12 grandchildren; two great
Grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs.
William Elherst of Burlington.
