I am looking for information on the Bengen or Funk families that lived in the Parkersburg/Aplington area of Iowa. According to family records, Anton Folkert Bengen and Antje (Adena) Bengen immigrated to the United States in about 1880. Anton and Antje were founding members of the Aplington Reformed Church. They had four children, Grietje (Gertie), Bernard, Harry and Folkert. Grietje married Lammert Henry Funk in 1891. I have extensive information on Grietje and Lammert Henry's descendants. I would like information on any other members of the Bengen or Funk families.
