My Gt Gt Grandparents Friedrich and Wilhelmina Huebner Lange came to Bremer Co. in 1868 where they purchased land in Buck Creek. They came by ship, the J. Ahlers Bark from Bremen to Baltimore in 1861 and then to Barrington, IL, before coming to Bremer Co. Their daughter Augusta Lange married Fritz Berger and their eight children lived in the area. With the help of local genealogists and lookups I have collected a great deal of information about the whole family. However I have not been able to find where they came from in Pomerania/Prussia or where they lived in Barrington or where the children went to school. Hopefully someone else has relatives that came at the same time from Barrington or from Pomerania. Maybe there was a group from the same place or relatives that they joined.
