I have an obit that says my gr. gr. grandfather was from Boone co. I am assuming it is in Iowa. His mother's name was Frances Edgeton Williams who's second marriage 1871 was to Edward B. Dusenbury, a man in his 70's. They had a child together in 1873 adding to one child of Frances, a boy by the name of Alfred Colfax Williams who was age 5. They may have lived in Boone at this time, she may have possibly died there in boone co., Edward then came back to Jesup Iowa, for he and his 8yr old daughter was in the 1880 census living with his son. Alfred was living with other Williams by the name of Edwin and Eliza, in their 60's. Was wondering if anyone goes to do look ups at the courthouse, if they could possibly check for a Frances Williams, or Dusenbury between the date of 1871-1880. Thanks a bunch.
