John's death date is Sept. 23, 1930. He died in Los Angeles, CA. Death Certificate gives his age as 95 years. I've got the newspaper account of the fire. They really knew how to give all the gory details. Reminded me of our National Enquirer.

I don't have any information about the 1914 reunion except that there was one. I do have two pictures of the 12 Duffy brothers and their sister Bridget. In one of the pictures they are older, so maybe that was taken in 1914.

I've been having fun reading about Gerald's son La Verne Duffy and his relationship to the Kennedy administration. Pretty hot stuff for a family of mostly Iowa farmers.
