we have the papers on george modrak

it's anna we cannot find according to her marraige she
was married in pa by 1909 she had a daughter named
margareth and was born 1n 1908 then married again in 1910
first husband died in pa before 1910 or in 1910 her marraige
cetificate stated first husband dead. ( paul Demko ) he
was from hungry also. it looks like the spelling was Jakim
or Jakin ( some say it was a G NOT SURE.No headstone but
the cemetary had a name on her deed as Joackin??? So not
sure. on her marraige it looks like she was at age 24 in
1910 that would make her birth about 1886 Her name on that certificate was Yakum??

Unable to reach by land the cabin in which a man was found dead yesterday, coroner’s deputies today were taken to the cabin on the shore of Smith Cove, by a Seattle Harbor Patrol boat.

The dead man, whose body was taken to the county morgue about 11:30 o’clock this forenoon, was identified as Dora Brunson, 70 years old, who lived in the cabin, at 2624 Oakes Street.

Brunson died of natural causes according to Coroner John P. Brill Jr.

Does anyone know where Clarence and Alice are buried? I have been to both church cemeteries in CRoss plains and there are no head stones for them??? I was told by 3 people that were buried at the Methodist but sense there wasn't headstones I ask the proprieter and the Versailles records and no one has a record!

I have a copy of their marriage license and was witnessed by Bowater Bales and Elizabeth Bales from Indiana. Our family has always been told that Reverend Bowater Bales 1802 -1890 was her father, but I can find no information about Rebecca prior to her marriage in 1848. Bowater Bales lists no female children between the ages of 10 and 15 on the 1840 census (Rebecca would have been 13 or 14 years old when it was taken). Another fact is that, Bowater Bales had 6 children, one of which was Wilbur Fisk Bales. Rebecca and David Wellman had a son named Wilbur Fisk Wellman (my great grand father). One idea that has come to mind is that Rebecca was orphaned when sometime after 1840 and Bowater Bales being a preacher took her in and gave her his last name. I would appreciate any info or insight of how to continue my search.

I don't know when H. Putmanwas born. James was born Sept. 1856. I found the marriage license thru the Indiana State Library and they didn't know any more then I did. That is why I didn't post any thing else. Sorry. Terry Crail

I have been searching for a couple days and think I have found them. Her parents were Henry Moyer and Mary Ellen Bickel. Henry was born Feb 1838 in Wayne Co. IN. He died 24 Feb 1921. Mary was born Mar 1838.Did not find a death date.

In 1870 they were in Madison, Tipton, IN.
Mina's name was listed as "Willie M. age 6 years and shown as a "male".
In 1880 they were in Benton Co. MO, Webster Twp.
Wilmina was age 15. In 1900 her parents were still in Webster, MO, West Benton.

I noticed in one of the City Directories for Pittsburg, KS a listing for Milton W. Daniels, (Miner) and wife's name was "Willmina".

Son, Ira Jess Daniels b. 22 Feb 1903 d. Nov 1976. Last
residence was Girard, Crawford Co., KS.

I am trying to find a marriage around 1856/57 somewhere in Indiana for a James Earl/Earls and Mary Polly Quinn. I have no idea where they might have gotten married. Their oldest daughter on the 1870 census for Monroe co. ky listed her as being born in 1858 in Indiana. But I am clueless as to where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
