I suggest two avenues for you, 1 being the Whitley County Historical Society, which has a lot of stuff already on-line but will have more in house. 2 Contact the library in South Whitley, they have a lot of info there as well.
I have a 1862 plat map of Cleveland Township, I see Daniel Reelhorn with 80 acres in Section 34. Closest school houses are on B. Cullen (sec 33) place about a 1/4 mile away and one on the same road about 1 3/4 miles away on John Sickafoose land (sec 35), he was the postmaster for the So. Cleveland P.O., I know some of the Sickafoose were school teachers, but I don't know where. e-mail me and I'll send the map in pdf. sharplongancestors@yahoo.com
