Hello,
I found Washington Pompey, 36, IN in the 1880 Census in Covert, Van Buren, MI. He married Annie Jenkins and they had Lafayette b. 1878 and Della who married Orville Connor/Conner. Orville was the son of John Connor and Malinda Jane Casey. I am researching a Charlotte Burden who married Thomas Casey and I believe Malinda Jane was their granddaughter. Some of the Burdens and Griffins lived in Whitley County, IN. Are there any Burdens, Griffins or Casey/Cazy in the cemetery in Whitley?
