Bluffton. She was first married to WILLIAM THOMPSON who died abt 1830 Darke Co, OH. Children of WILLIAM THOMPSON
and REBECCA MILLER were ABRAHAM THOMPSON b. May 31, 1820
married CHRISTENA BEANBLOSSOM; DAVID THOMPSON b 1823 who
married MARY BAKER; DELILAH THOMPSON married SAMUEL W. JONES, JOHN THOMPSON and possibly one more unknown THOMPSON.
WILLIAM BAY and REBECCA MILLER THOMPSON children were:
RACHEL BAY b 1833, MARY ANN BAY b. 1835; WILLIAM HARRISON BAY b. 1837; AMANDA JANE BAY b. 1843 and BENJAMIN F. BAY
b. 1846-1847 all born Wells County, IN. WILLIAM BAY had
brothers DAVID BAY, JOHN BAY, JOSEPH BAY and one sister
ISABEL BAY who may have married a JOHN KNOX. Anyone have
knowledge of these people or help me with the BAY children's
marriages in Wells County? Cemetery information??? Thanks.

William Otis Thompson was my grandfather. His grandfather was Abraham who was married to Christena Beanblossom. The story I heard was that while he was fighting with the soldiers, she was serving coffee and danishes to the men.
Abraham's Father was William and his father was a David b.1760 in VA. If you have any info regarding David and any of his ancestors/ what part of VA/ anything beyond that, would love to know.

One of William and Rebecca Bays children was Rachel Ellen Bay(s), who married Amos Quick in 1859. Amos was the brother of my g-g-grandmother, Mahala [Quick] Kidwell. This is from the 1850 Wells Co., IN census:
