In the 1850 census for Wells Co, INdiana there is an Allen Redding, age 40, born in Carolina, and a William Redding, age 43, born in Carolina. George William Redding was 35, born in North Carolina. He is in the Allen Co. census. They all lived in Zanesville,IN which is partly in Allen Co and partly in Wells Co. They look like brothers to me, but I have no proof.George's father and mother, I believe, were William Redding (1784-1853) and Delphia Brown (1783-1854. They died in Wilkes Co, North Carolina
