I am trying to find out what happened to my great grandmother, Elizabeth Willis (birth abt 1869), who married Thomas Jefferson Nutter. The last trace I can find is the 1900 Federal Census for Liberty Wells, Indiana. She is 31 living with her father and mother, Franklin Willis and Rebecca Holloway Willis, with her daughter Lina Nutter (7 years old). There is a story that she was committed to a mental hospital, but I am unable to verify the story nor can I find a date of death or a death certificate.
