Bluffton, Ind., Feb. 13. -- A special meeting of the county council has been called for Saturday, February 26, in order that a special appropriation can be made to defray the expense of returning Bert Hand from California. The cost of bringing Hand back for trail, including two trips to California by Wells county police officers is $562.83.


Bluffton, Ind., Feb. 13. -- The congregation of the Uniondale M. E. church will receive bids this month for the erection of a new church building. The plans have been ready for several weeks and show the proposed church to be one of the finest country edifices in Wells county.
