UNIONDALE STORE SOLD.
Bluffton, Ind., Feb. 23. -- By a deal closed today H. W. Lipkey, in the retail business in a general store at Uniondale for twenty-nine years, disposed of his one-half interest in the largest store in the little town in the northern part of this county. The purchaser was William
Meeks, who has been a partner of Mr. Lipkey in the store for several years. Mr. Lipkey built the first store building in the town of Uniondale, now one of the best trading points in the county. He still has important interests there. He is president of the Uniondale bank, is a prominent member of the Uniondale Improvement association and is a member of the lumber firm at that place. He also owns a fine farm which receives part of his attention.
MRS. KIGER OF BLUFFTON DISAPPEARS
Missing Wife's Identity Disclosed, She Hasily
Leaves Logansport.
Logansport, Ind., Feb. 23. -- Mrs. Belle
Kiger, wife of Col. W. L. Kiger, of Bluffton, who disappeared from her home last July and who has been living in the same flat in this city with Dr. W. N. Fowler, who deserted his wife and children in Bluffton at the same time that Mrs. Kiger left that city, has disappeared. Their identity was revealed by Charles
Coverdale, a Bluffton insurance agent, who saw and recognized them in a moving picture theatre. Following the discovery of their identity, Mrs. Kiger hastily removed to the
Murdock hotel, where she remained overnight. Yesterday she left the city for the east. Dr. Fowler, when interviewed, said he thought she was going to
North Carolina, where a sister lives, but he was not positive.
The disappearance of Dr. Fowler and Mrs. Kiger from Bluffton caused a sensation. Mrs. Kiger is the wife of Col. W. L. Kiger, who served with distinction in the Spanish-American war.

America, and he will spend some time in the Panama canal zone. Mr. Wiecking has traveled more extensively than any other Bluffton man and, besides covering all parts of the United States, has been to
Europe several times and to the orient.
