The Lutheran Ladies’ Aid society held a sale of India laces Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Raber and sons, Earl and Wayne, spent Sunday in the Mort Gilbert home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hoffacker spent Saturday at Nine Mile with Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Newhard.

Miss Thelma Shady, of Bluffton, and John Shoup, Jr., of Zanesville, surprised their friends Saturday, June 17. The couple are well known here.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sonner, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Sonner, Mr. and Mrs. George Roudebush, Larue Roudebush and Jennie Weikel, Lloyd Coley and Vades Raber, Naomi Caley and Claris Redding attended the John Robinson circus, at Huntington, Wednesday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Crismore spent Sunday in the John Haflich home, at Zanesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Riley Caley and family spent Sunday in the Ralph Hoopingarner home, in Huntington.

Mrs. Edna Harris and son, of Gary, are spending a few weeks in the Wallace Lipkey home.
