Miss Jessie Hoffacher, who has been visiting relatives here for some time, has returned to her home in Chicago.
The Van Buren basketball team will meet the local K. of P. five here Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. George Roudebush were called to Markle Tuesday because of the illness of Mrs. William Leavengood.
Mrs. George Bronner, who has been ill for some time, shows no great improvement.
Fred Platt and family spent Sunday in the William Leavengood home in Markle.
Mrs. Riley Caley, Mrs. George Roudebush and son Larue spent Thursday in the Ralph Hoopingarner home in Huntington.
Mr. and Mrs. Ora Miller were in Fort Wayne Wednesday.
There will be a Christmas entertainment in the St. Mark's Lutheran church Sunday evening, Dec. 25.
