Uniondale News

The Misses Selah Schwartz, Loye Boyless, Herman Gilbert and Otis Schwartz returned Thursday after a two weeks' trip to Niagara, Buffalo and other places of interest.

Ethel Wilt and Edna Brickley spent the week-end in Warren with friends.

E. Z. Daugherty of near Ossian, visited in the William Daugherty home Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Grover Brickley and family of Bluffton spent Sunday with Mrs. Gelano Brickley.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Houtz recently visited in Fort Wayne.

Lon Brickley of Decatur spent Sunday with his family here.

Mrs. Alfred Kramer and little daughter of Huntington were Sunday guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Newhard.

The young people of the Rockcreek Center church will give a play entitled "The Old Oaken Bucket" Friday night in the Red Men's hall here. The proceeds will go to the church fund.

Miss Dorothy Odler sprained her right arm recently when she cranked a Ford card.

Hazel Jones of Huntongton, was in Uniondale Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lesh and daughter Eleanor, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lew of Markle spent Sunday in the Lon Brickley home.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Collins, Miss Mae Anthony and Ross Haflich spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Cal Chaney and sons of Huntington.

The Methodist Ladies chorus will meet Tuesday night with Mrs. E. A. Bunner.

The Ladies' Aid will meet with Mrs. Orin Eversole Friday night.

Grant Eversole and wife of Fort Wayne spent a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. William Daugherty.

Mr. and Mrs. Jake Haflich, Mr. and Mrs. Alta Brickley and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Haflich and children of Ashtabula, Ohio, were in Fort Wayne, Sunday.
