Uniondale News

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cillins (sic) entertained the following Saturday night and Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Collins and their daughter and her family, of Warren; Mr. and Mrs. Ott Collins, of Uniondale.

Mrs. J. M. Waid is greatly improved since her recent operation. She is now able to be about her home.

Kenneth and Kieth (sic) Roudebush, little sons of Mr. and Mrs. Elgie Roudebush, returned home Saturday from Warren, where they spent six weeks with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lon Brickley.

Miss Ruth Slane, of Markle, spent Saturday with Miss Chelia Lockwood. Both girls are attending school at Huntington.

Miss Ivah Porter has resigned her position as bookkeeper at the Morris store in Bluffton.

Joe Safia arrived from Chicago to spend a few days with his brother Oscar and family, living south of town.

Mrs. Della Meyers and daughters, Zola and Clellah, were at Markle recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Brickley have returned home after spending a few days at Sturgis, Mich.

Ileen (sp?) Keller spent Tursday in Bluffton.

Nadine Crist has taken employment in Bluffton.

Mrs. Clellah Collins and daughter, Ruth, spent Thursday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Haflich.

Mrs. Orve Lantis, of Bluffton, is reported to be in poor health. Mrs. Lantis formerly lived in Uniondale, where Mr. Lantis was properietor of the Buick garage.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meyers and family motored to Fort Wayne Sunday and called on Mrs. William Meyers, who is at the Wayne hospital sanitarium convalescing from a recent operation. Mrs. Meyers is doing as well as can be expected.

Mr. and Mrs. Clint Kain and daughter, Marguerite, attended Decoration services at Ossian Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Daughterty (sic) entertained the following Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. William Haflich, Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Brickley and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Haflich.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bailey and family, of Ossian, were entertained in the Joe Lamm home.
