The small daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Del
Shady spent Wednesday evening with the little Misses Ruth and Esther
Sparks at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William
Daugherty while Mr. and Mrs. Shady went to
Murray.
Mrs. Grant Eversole returned to her home in
Fort Wayne after visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William
Daugherty.
Irel (sp?) Pence returned Thursday from Indianapolis where he went as a democratic delegate. He also visited the stock yards in the interest of the Farmers' federation.
Mrs. Raver and daughter, Vadis, spent Friday afternoon in Bluffton.
Little Marybelle
Wilson, daughter of
Chauncy Wilson, is ill with the measles.
Mrs. Flossie Rex and two children, of Elkhart, are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emmet
Fisher.
Max
Thompson, of Akron, spent Sunday with his wife and children at the home of Mrs. Andy Meeks. Mrs. Thompson is spending a few weeks with her mother.
Miss
Leota Haflich left Sunday for North Manchester where she will attend school.
Martha Gilbert spent Sunday with friends here.
Special music was rendered by the vocal instructor at Taylor university Sunday evening at the M. E. church. She is a sister of the Rev. Mr. Bevener's wife and is visiting here.
Class No. 2 of the M. E. Sunday school taught by Mrs. Dora
Haflich will give a market Saturday afternoon in the
Ward. Crismore & company store.

Miller is spending a few days at the lakes.
Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan
Brickley went to
Sturgis,
Mich., Tuesday, where Mr. Brickley has purchased a farm. They will return in a few days.

Fort Wayne Sunday.
Decoration day services will be held at
Murray Saturday afternoon. An entertainment will be given in the Christian church.
The high school commencement will be held at Bluffton Friday night, May 28. Those graduating from this place are: Dorothy Griffin, Frieda Waid, Farrel Gardenour, Lawrence
