The Ladies' Aid society of the St. Mark's Lutheran church gave a supper Wednesday evening for the benefit of the new church fund.

Union Thanksgiving services were held at the Methodist church.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wasson and children, Mary and Pauline, of Fort Wayne, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Newhard for dinner Thanksgiving day.

Mr. and Mrs. John Miller and daughters were guests of Mrs. Miller's mother, Mrs. John Ditzler, in Bluffton, Thursday.

Mrs. Anna Gilbert spent Thursday with her son, Charles, in Fort Wayne.

Elizabeth Bailey has been ill for some time.

Mrs. Lola Gilbert and children, of Markle, were week-end guests of Martin Gilbert and family.

Farrell Gardenour, of Crawfordsville, spent the week-end with his parents, Frank Gardenour and wife.

Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Collins and daughter were guests of Boyd Jones in Warren Thanksgiving.

William Alfred Haflich and family were guests of William Haflich in Markle Thursday.

Marjorie Allen, of near Ossian, was a week-end guest of J. D. Hi-- and wife.

Nadine Crist has been ill for some time.

Mr. and Mrs. George Olshouse and daughter spent Thursday in Bluffton.

Mr. and Mrs. Freem Brickley and Mr. and Mrs. LaVaughn Toms, of Bluffton, were guests of Gelany Brickley recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Campbell spent Thursday with Dick Grogg in Markle.
