I am looking for relatives of August and Augusta (Jahn) Arnold. They immigrated to the US in 1850. Several family members settled in Wells County, IN. William C. and Charles E. Arnold both settled in Wells County, IN. Also, Augusta's maiden name was Jahn, any link there would be very much appreciated.

My graandfather, Elmer Arnold was one of several children born to a John Arnold. John possessed title to a quarter section of land as I am told in Liberty Center Twp. DL

Just found your query. I just found out that my husband third great grandfather was August Arnold.
His second great grandfather was Charles Edward.
