I am looking for information on Peter Brown, b. abt 1770 in Berks Co., PA and died abt Dec. 1848 in Warren Co., IN. I believe he purchased land in Fountain Co., IN in 1826 and then in Warren Co., IN in 1831. I am actually trying to see if there is a connection with a Susanna Brown b. 1808 in Cumberland Co., PA who marries in 1827 Fountain Co., IN a William Hodgins. I haven’t found a will for Peter Brown. I am hoping to find some record of Peter’s death, a will, a death certificate or probate or other record and ideally something that includes his wife’s name and any children.
