Welch who appeared in the 1860 census for

His wife Johanna and sons Michael and John are believed to have moved to
Wisconsin by 1870. The census for Janesville,

The obit for the above John (26) says that he was a railroad worker. It also provides: "Mr. Welsh was of
Irish parentage, being born in the old country Jan. 28, 1841. He came to
America at the age of eight and lived with his parents in Indian until 1865 when he came to Janesville." His death certificate indicates that his father's name was John.
Looking for info on John Sr. (b. abt. 1805). I'm assuming that he may be buried in
Wabash Co. (he doesn't have a gravestone in the family plot in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Janesville, WI). It would probably be a Catholic cememtery. It is also possible that he had a first wife who died before 1859 and is buried there too.
