I would like copies of the obits for John and Ada Beck. I believe there is an obit for John in the Wabash Plain Dealer October 25, 1866. I think John died October 5,1866. His wife, Ada(h) Winder Beck died in May 2, 1872 or 1873. Both are buried in the Friends Cemetery. Thank you.

I have a family group sheet for john Beck with the following information. He is in the 1850 and 1860 census for Wabash County, indiana. he was born 5-12-1801 in Virginia and died 10-3-1866 buried in Friends cemetery Noble Township, Wabash Co. Indiana. he married Ada Winder who was born 12-24-1801 in Virginia and died 5-2-1873 buried in Friends Cemetery.
There family consisted of Alfred bn 4-7-1827 in Ohio mrd 1-1-1851 Wabash County to Elizabeth Harkrider; Laura bn 12-11-1830; William bn 3-22-1833; Venijah Harrison bn 2-26-1837 in Ohio mrd 11-12-1859 Wabash County to Eliza A. Wellman; Sylvester L. bn 1-11-1841 in Oh, mrd 1-1-1865 Wabash Co to Mary Jane Gochenour; Sarah married a Rider; Louisa born 1831 in Ohio; Arvine bn 1825 in Ohio mrd Phebe.
See South Wabash Meeting minutes in Heiss's Abstracts of the Society of Friends in Indiana part III. Most of the above marriages were outside the church. Sylvester disowned for service in the Civil War. Also see Will Record for Adah Beck dated 4-13-1873 found in BK B pages 60-61. Lists children and Harrison Beck as executor.
An obituary for Ada appeqred in the 5-15-1873 Wabash Plain Dealer and an obituary for John appeared in the Wabash Plain Dealer of 10-25-1866.
