MARION — Minnie Jeanette Garrison, 85, 5 Clark St., LaFontaine, died at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Marion General Hospital.

She was born on Aug. 24, 1918, in Marion, to Lawrence and Ethle (Porter) Pence. She married Ervin Garrison on May 15, 1939. He died on June 30, 1992.

She graduated from LaFontaine High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the LaFontaine Christian Church, LaFontaine.

Surviving are two sons, Donald (Jean) Garrison and James (Deborah) Garrison, both of LaFontaine; five grandchildren, Tony (Melissa) Garrison, Jonesboro, Scott (Keri) Garrison and Mrs. Jon (Heather) Timmons, both of LaFontaine, Jamy Garrison, Marion, and Dan (Megan) Wright, Wabash; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McDonald Funeral Home LaFontaine Chapel. The Rev. Charles Dye will officiate. Burial will be in the LaFontaine IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Preferred memorials are to the LaFontaine United Methodist Church or the Indiana Masonic Home.
