NORTH
MANCHESTER — Eugene P. Graham, 79, 305 E. Fourth St., North
MANCHESTER, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at his home.
He was born on April 15, 1923, in
Kansas City, Mo., to Paul P. and Edith P. (Rusche)
Graham. He married Mary
Burgess on March 18, 1944. She died on April 23, 1986. He then married Bobbee J. Graham on May 25, 1991. She survives.
He was the director of architecture at
Gove & Associates, Kalamazoo,
Mich., and was employed with MW Architects & Engineers, North
MANCHESTER, retiring in 1992. He was a World War II
Navy veteran.
He attended
Butler University and graduated from the University of
Illinois in 1949, with a bachelor of science degree in architecture. He was a member of the American Legion Post No.286, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Institute of Architects, Delta Tau Delta fraternity, National Maritime Historical Society,
Navy Reserves Officers Association, the
Indiana,
Ohio and Maine historical societies and the Tin Can Sailors. He was a founding member of Clan
Graham Society (US), and a former board member of the North
MANCHESTER Community Foundation.
Also surviving are a son, Bruce P. Graham, Indianapolis; a daughter,
Perri D. Graham, Roseville, Minn.; a stepson,
Neal Albert, Middlebury; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Michael (Pam)
Hoover, North
MANCHESTER, and Mrs. Stephen (Julie)
Hartig,
Clarkston, Mich.; three grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandchild. One daughter, Penny
Wendel, died in 1988.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the
Washington Park East Cemetery
Chapel, Indianapolis. Burial will be in the
Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary North
MANCHESTER Chapel, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the chapel.
