However, I have a little bit on Susan Ike's father's family and last night one of my on-line friends sent me a lot of information on Susan Ike's mother's line. 1880 Census has family: Littleton Hall (age 57, born PA), wife Susan (age 50, born TENN?), son Adam (age 11, born IND) and Thomas Wilson (stepson, age 24, born Illinois). I am trying to find info on Thomas Wilson to possibly link to my family.

Thomas Wilson's father was William Wilson. The family is in the 1850 Coles Co., IL census. His mother's name was Susan Elizabeth? Collins?. Besides Thomas they had Miranda J, b abt 1848 who married Joseph Westbrook in Sangamon, IL, Solomon W. b. abt 2/1850, John b. abt 1851, Aaron J b.abt 1854. When Susan married Littleton she had Thomas and Miranda with her and I think another son, I don't remember right now. The question is what happened to William Wilson and the other children. I think they may have died in the 1851 cholera epidemic, but that's only speculation.

LITTLETON HALL WAS MY GREATX5 GRANDFATHER-OR SOMETHING CLOSE TO GREAT X5. HE WAS MARRIED TO ELIZABETH SUSAN WILSON AND THEY HAD FOUR CHILDREN. MY LINE GOES WITH SARAH KAZAAR HALL WHO MARRIED WILLIAM HENRY VESTAL. THEIR SECOND CHILD WAS LITTLWTON JESSE VESTAL WHO MARRIED NORA VICTORIA BUTCHER. THEIR SECOND CHILD EDNA EVELYN VESTAL MARRIED RUSHA FRANKLIN REYNOLDS AND ONE OF THEIR CHILDREN WAS MY FATHER.( I THINK I HAVE ALL OF THAT RIGHT)

BUT BACK TO LITTLETON HALL AND ELIZABETH WILSON AND HER SON THOMAS WILSON, HE DIED AT ABOUT 27 YEARS OF AGE. THE NOTES I HAVE SAID 21 BUT I FOUND HIM ON A CENSUS AT GREATER THAN 21.I ALSO SEEM TO REMEMBER HE COMITTED SUICIDE, BUT THAT MAY HAVE BEEN SOMEONE ELSE. SINCE HE WASN'T IN MY DIRECT LINE I HADN'T TRIED TO DOCUMENT HIS DEATH.

ALSO FOR A LITTLE BIT OF INFORMATION lITTLETON HALL WAS A BLACKSMITH AT ROACHDALE, INDIANA. I DON'T KNOW AT WHAT TIME, JUST A LITTLE NOTE FROM MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER TO MY MOTHER AT ONE TIME.

I WAS THRILLED TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE WILSON'S. THAT WAS JUST A GREAT BLACK HOLE. NOW I HAVE A BIT MORE INFORMATION TO ADD. I REALLY APPREACIATE THE INFOR YOU SUPPLIED.

I HAD THOUGHT I REMEMBERED THAT HE HAD COMMITTED SUICIDE, BUT I CAN'T FIND ANY NOTES TO CONFIRM THIS. SINCE HE WASN'T IN MY DIRECT LINE I HADN'T TRIED TO FOLLOW UP ON HIS ACTUAL DEATH INFORMATION. LITTLETON HALL WAS MY GREAT X4 OR 5 GRANDFATHER. HE AND ELIZABETH HAD FOUR CHILDREN TOGETHER-THREE GIRLS AND ONE BOY. MY LINE IS THROUGH SARAH KAZAAR HALL

Hi Kathaleen, I am so excited to hear from you. I don't find too many people interested in Littleton Hall for some reason. We are cousins, my grandmother was Mary Marie Vestal who was a sister to your grandfather Littleton Jesse Vestal. My line goes William Henry & Sarah Kazaar Hall Vestal, William Corbett & Mary Marie Vestal Shannon to my father to me. William Corbett Shannon's parents were Oliver Perry and Martha Ann Barton Shannon.
I have some good pictures I'll be happy to share with you and whatever information I have. I think Elizabeth Susan Wilson was a Collins and I found her family although I haven't worked on them very much. Also, I have Littleton's parents and siblings.
I have some very old portraits that I need help identifying and would welcome the help. Whoever they are they are your family also so maybe you will have some ideas.
I didn't know about Littleton being a blacksmith at Roachdale, I'll see if I can find something and also I'll try to find something on Thomas Wilson's death. He's not my direct line either but you never know what good stuff you can find when you research the people who are close to the ones you really want to know about.
You said Littleton and Susan had three girls, I only have Sarah Kazaar and Larilda M. or Sarilda M. Who was the other one, please? And where in the world did the name Kazaar come from??
